Community Relations

We give back to the communities in which we do business, investing in their current and future well-being with voluntary financial contributions, needed technical expertise and support for employee volunteer programs. Our goal is to develop effective and meaningful community-building initiatives while raising awareness of CoreLogic, our people and our company’s capabilities.

This means we give community grants and in-kind contributions, sponsor educational and other events, and empower our diverse employees to share their talents freely within communities. We also utilize our unique business capabilities and competitive advantages to forge alliances with industry and community partners to address important community goals.

Our Philosophy

"For some time we have been involved in doing positive things to serve our neighbors. By formalizing both the process of donating to communities and the structure of our community volunteer and outreach efforts, we have been able to increase our commitment, expand our support, and dedicate more resources to the vital work of strengthening the communities we serve and making lasting homeownership possible for all Americans."

– Karen J. Collins, Vice President, Community Relations

Community Initiatives

Our outreach initiatives focus on accomplishing clear community goals, including:

  • Restoring healthy housing and financial security
Our people and partners provide training and educational seminars that support healthy housing and financial security
  • Stabilizing communities
We combine educational, crime prevention, and other development efforts to help stabilize communities considered at risk or in decline
  • Revitalizing neighborhoods
Once at-risk communities are stabilized, we work with our partners to drive revitalization through economic investment and cultural development

Employee Volunteers

Our commitment to communities includes internal company programs that leverage our people, products and financial assets to address community issues effectively. Such issues include housing preservation, fairness in real estate lending and new borrower education.

In support of our employee volunteers, we’ve created employee development programs like the Community Ambassadors program to encourage involvement in communities on a personal level. By enrolling in the program, employees can track their contributions to the community, seek out new volunteer opportunities, join other employee volunteer efforts and request matching company donations on behalf of their volunteer work.

Community Partnerships

Since we can’t hope to accomplish all of our ambitious community goals alone, we’ve formed strategic partnerships with a number of leading nonprofit organizations:

  • Operation Hope
The leading nonprofit social investment banking and financial literacy organization, Operation Hope has served more than one million low-wealth individuals since its founding in 1992—and continues working to make capitalism and free enterprise work for everyone through financial literacy empowerment.
  • Social Compact
Dedicated to breaking down barriers to private investment in inner-city neighborhoods, Social Compact applies cutting-edge methodology to available economic data for underserved communities, uncovers overlooked economic indicators and provides analyses that translate into new tools to support community development.
  • Habitat for Humanity
Through Habitat, thousands of low-income families have found affordable housing. By joining churches, community groups and others, Habitat has successfully tackled a significant social problem—decent housing for all. To date, Habitat has built more than 300,000 homes, sheltering more than 1.5 million people in more than 3,000 communities around the world.
