Home Price Index Audio Clip: July 2018

The July 2018 CoreLogic HPI report shows that as summer was heating up, home prices were starting to cooldown. The July 2018 CoreLogic HPI appreciated 6.2 percent year over year nationally, a slowdown from the early Spring increases of 6.6 percent. The Western U.S. is still outperforming the rest of the nation, with Nevada gaining 12.9 percent over the past year, followed closely by Idaho, which showed a 12.3 percent year-over-year increase.
