CoreLogic’s monthly Single-Family Rent Index (SFRI) tracks U.S. rental costs changes to help provide both property owners and tenants visibility into evolving trends in this segment of the housing market. The SFRI is released on a monthly basis and is a frequently cited industry source. The SFRI examines U.S. rent growth, as well as data from 20 major U.S. metro areas. Featuring commentary from CoreLogic’s economists and market data visualizations, the SFRI also breaks down rental cost changes in different price tiers and examines the gap between attached and detached properties.
