Hello, my name is Robert Billingslea, and I am your new leader It Support for Field Services Manager for the CoreLogic Field Services team. I started my career 18 years ago with A La Mode Incorporated in Oklahoma City, OK, as a technical support professional and became a support lead within one short year.
I spent the next 12 years as a system administrator where I continued to build my troubleshooting skills and learn more about the applications that put our company in the best position to help our customers. During that time, CoreLogic acquired A La Mode and I was presented with an amazing opportunity to expand my network beyond the Oklahoma City office.
In 2018, I joined the Field Services team as a professional technical services VIP support representative. And at the start of the pandemic, the company needed someone to go to the Irving, TX, office on short notice to help ensure that we have the necessary laptops imaged so that the demanding influx of employees could work virtually.
I felt stepping up and saying, “yes” to help quickly fill that need for the company opened the door for me to be presented with an amazing opportunity to relocate to Irving and to continue my work in the VIP support role.
Over the past three and half years, I was able to move to my next step in my career journey as a senior systems automation engineer, where I applied all the sills I learned over the years, continued to seek more knowledge and information through calls, webinars, formal and informal training, informational training, asking peers, and even simple internet searches.
Additionally, I made time to mentor and look for ways to enhance my leadership skills, which prepared me to step into my current role of being the Field Services Manager.
