CoreLogic Celebrates Pride Month
June 28, 2019
June is widely recognized as LGBT Pride Month. The month marks a celebration, remembrance and acknowledgement of both the accomplishments and the work still ahead for the LGBT community and their Allies. CoreLogic celebrated with the company’s PRIDE Employee Resource Group (ERG), supporting several events throughout the month.
PRIDE (Promoting a Respectful, Inclusive and Diverse Environment) hosted several events in the Dallas office including a movie day, an LGBT education station, trivia, and a PRIDE party day filled with food, fun and friendship. PRIDE members also spent their time volunteering at the Dallas Pride Festival, and the Founders Cottage, an organization that provides specialized care for people living with AIDS in critical stages of their lives. To show the company’s continued support of inclusion, the rainbow flag was also raised for the first time at the Dallas corporate offices and was displayed throughout the month of June.
“PRIDE means so much more to me than the great educational, developmental, networking and volunteer opportunities our ERG offers to CoreLogic employees,” said Shannon Brown, PRIDE President & Executive, Business Compliance. “I’m continuously moved by stories we hear from members, both LGBT and Allies, of how they have been positively impacted. If just one person feels a network of support or feels more confident coming to work as their true self, then we have succeeded. I’m happy to say that we are succeeding every day in Dallas and Austin, and I’m excited to spread PRIDE’s successes to other CoreLogic offices.”
PRIDE currently has over 130 members, with chapters currently in the Dallas and Austin offices with plans to expand to other offices in 2019 and 2020. CoreLogic is proud to celebrate the LGBT employees and their communities as an Ally.
By taking the position of Ally, CoreLogic shows our clients, investors and vendors that diversity and inclusion is a top priority. It also fosters an environment where all CoreLogic employees are encouraged to be their true selves. For more information on our commitment to diversity, visit our Diversity and Inclusion page.
