Our location information products are well-known for their accuracy. In fact, if you’re already a client of ours, you’ve probably seen us reference the term “When Close Enough Isn’t Good Enough,” because accuracy is a fundamental part of our business.

Since 2007 CoreLogic has pioneered and built the largest parcel boundary database in the country. Originally designed to support the accuracy of our flood determination business, ParcelPoint® is now the location information foundation for all our spatial and insurance products as well as many of our client’s geographic information systems (GIS).

For the past several years, we’ve been working on a complementary product to ParcelPoint® that brings an even greater level of granularity to GIS systems. Structure Footprint achieves this level of detail by returning not only structure boundaries, but also structure points for each address and sub-addresses associated with a property. Other key structural records include gross square footage, land use, number of stories, and year built.
